Oh yeah, we're Hiring Requested Positions: Co-Admin and Global Moderator Information: Co-Admin: For this job, I would like someone who is lively and enjoys what they do. Mainly general maintenance around the board and watching that people obey the rules...but mostly, I want someone in this position to make sure everyone is having fun. You would have to keep a close eye on the site to make sure every aspect of it is running smoothly (of, course, you would not be alone in this as I do quite a bit). You would also have to have an active character in the Roleplay (though I think this goes without saying)
Global Moderator: The global mod would be in charge of advertising (organizing advertising contests etc. or just advertising themselves), accepting character applications, and helping to make sure that the site is running smoothly. You would have to be friendly and welcoming to all members, but strict when it comes to intense rule-breaking. An active character in the Roleplay would be required.
Both of these positions would also be expected to help with the aging rule, whether it be changing the age of cats on their bios or helping to enforce to members the fact that yes, their characters will grow old and eventually die. If you have graphic and coding skills, that would be a plus.
To apply, reply to this thread with your desired position as well as your experience and why you think you would be a good fit.

I know, I'm really new. I'm posting this not an hour after I joined. But, I'd like to apply for the position of Co-Admin.
My experience: I've been a Co-Admin on a site before, and, I have my own, very new site of which I'm Head-Admin on. I can give you links to these sites, if you'd like.
If you talk to just about anyone, on any site I'm on, they'll say I'm friendly, know most of the rules, and will explain just about everything to new members, or people new to roleplaying. I can do graphics, but, I'm really not good at those, or coding, as for that, you'd have to see my site, because that's, sadly, my best work. I'm pretty good at roleplaying, despite the fact that I've only been roleplaying for a half-year. I'm active almost every day, though, I will disappear, for abut five weeks every summer, and some weekends.
I'd be fine with A Global -Moderator position too.

Well I'm probably the newest but I know I would make a great Co Admin, or if you think I would make a good Global Moderator that's fine too:
I think that me being a Co-Admin would help, I know that I'm very good at Advert's, Coding, and just being helpful to new members. I have great patience and I'm fair, I don't find myself to be arrogant but I'm really helpful, I'll admit that I've never been good with Proboards but I'll start to learn some but I've been an Admin on Zetaboards and Invision and I do great work with Accepting Applications. If you would like refrences I'd like to direct you to one of the sites I'm an Admin on and I'm pretty sure she'll say good things. I'm a good person to talk to if you got a Problem whether it's in real life or on the boards I'll be able to listen and give advice on what to do, I'm very helpful and I'm a Hard-worker. I'm good at Roleplaying and I've done it for almost 4 years. Being active is a strong point for me I would be on everyday making sure that the Rules are being followed as well as planning events for the Forum. And lastly I'm easy to work with I'm always joking around and just plainly having fun and I have exprience with this type of rp.
I'll be fine with your choice and hopefully I'll be able to work with you.

Thank you both for your replies. I am going to wait a little while before I pick staff members (allowing time for other people apply aswell).

Applying For: Global moderator, but if you think I'd be suited for co-admin, then I'll be fine with that as well. ^^
Why choose me: I have been roleplaying on forums for two years now, and throughout those two years have had a good few staff jobs on sites, from being a simple moderator to an admin/co-admin. I have experience with proboards coding, having made a rp site before (I never opened it to the public, it was never finished, but I did work on it for a few weeks).
I have an understanding of Photoshop and can do half-decent photo manipulations, examples here, here, here and here. So if you ever needed graphic help... you could turn to me. ^^ And as for general things, like checking bios, advertising, updating cats' bios to age them... I'd be fine with that sort of thing. I'd be happy to explain things to new members, and there's no doubt that I wouldn't be active in the roleplay.
Unless something happens to prevent me, I will be online every day. And if something does happen (internet trouble, holidays, etc) then I will be sure to post about it before vanishing.
I like to think that I am friendly person (most of the time, haha) and even if I am not selected as a staff member, I'll be an active, loyal roleplayer of this site nonetheless.

I have come to a decision (although not one that you would most likely hope for) For the moment I don't actually need any help the running the site as there aren't many members and I seem to be able to get everything done... Once I see everyone rp and I get to know you all better etc. I will send someone a private message asking if they wouldn't mind taking a staff position. I hope you all understand that this is not because I don't like your applications or don't think you are qualified (need to be qualified to volunteer your time?) it is just that now that the site has been running for a little bit, I think I can handle it on my own for a while. Very sorry that you took the time to write out your applications, but I will be keeping your dedication in mind when I choose my staff. If you have any problems with this, please feel free to let me know in a pm

It's actually a great idea, because you'll get to know who we are, not who we say we are. I, for one, fully support it.
