Clan Traits

Each Clan is quite different and though the cats have not "evolved" to their physical environments, there tends to be different traits that each Clan is known for.

CliffClan;
CliffClan cats are usually quite hardy.  The other Clans usually describe them as "rabbits," as they live in tunnels and hunt out in bare open land.  Their paw-pads roughen up quite well by the time they are apprentices, so they don't mind walking over sharp stones.  They are fast and sure-footed while walking over rocks.  CliffClan cats are not fond of getting their paws wet at all and it is very unlikely that they are able to swim as their territory is usually quite dry.  They are also not very good at staying silent while walking through forestry.

WoodsClan;
WoodsClan cats are masters of the forest.  They learn how to be silent walking along the forest floor and are quite light on their feet.  They often climb into the tree canopy and hunt through its dense world of tangled branches.  These cats are agile and use their surroundings to get the upper hand in everything they do.  They almost fear open spaces as it can make them feel vulnerable and if in a fight, they will always try to draw their enemies back into the trees.

BogClan;
BogClan cats feel quite at home with the ground squelching under their paws.  They are artists of disguise and are very rarely clean enough to show their true fur colour.  With their surroundings so open, it would be nearly impossible for them to catch anything without their disguises.  They can usually "melt" into the mud, and hide from other cats or prey.  They rely on patience, waiting for their target to be unsuspecting before they seemingly appear out of nowhere to attack.  These cats usually feel very restricted and claustrophobic if beneath something and often have a hard time reaching the Shining Cave through the tunnels in CliffClan territory.
