Years back, the ruthless traitor of Thunderclan and leader of Shadowclan, Tigerstar fell at the claws of a small cat named Scourge. The four clans banded together after this, determined to drive out the cats that would take over their home, yet they failed. Bloodclan rules not only the city, but also the forest. Seasons have passed, moons have come and gone, and now cats from Bloodclan live among the four clans, mingling, hunting, and fighting with the warriors. Leaders no longer receive nine lives, they are cats chosen by the ruler of Bloodclan, and that chosen cat may choose their deputy from Bloodclan cats or warriors who have shown their loyalty. Medicine cats are still allowed to visit the Moonstone, Bloodclan wants to keep some peace among the clans, yet a Bloodclan cat and a warrior must accompany them from their clan.
With the clans ruled by Bloodclan, fighting rarely happens. Prey is the most common cause for a fight, and even then it is rare. Every so often Bloodclan cats will fight or beat up a cat from the clans, to warn the others of what happens from disobedience. Each cat is still trained in hunting, yet only toms are trained to fight extensively.
For she-cats life has changed considerably, they are allowed to learn to hunt, and fight to some extent. Yet their purpose is to have kits, to help the bloodlines of Bloodclan and their clans. When a she-cat of a mate with a high rank has kits or a queen has kits that are particularly beautiful or one that seems stronger than others, that kit may be placed in an arranged marriage between the clans or be promised to a cat within a high rank in Bloodclan to appease the leader.
Few of warriors remember the ways of old, when cats received nine lives, the medicine cats have ensured their lore is passed down and Starclan knows they continue to follow. Some warriors wish to ban the clans together, drive out Bloodclan once and for all, yet can they?
