Physical Description: A medium-length-furred calico she-cat. Her fur is mainly black with patches of orange showing up along her back, belly, and on one ear. A splash of white sits atop her nose, making it look like she had stuck her nose in a snow bank. Maplestar has a small lithe build but the way she holds her head and tail when walking around give her the look of a stronger cat. Her eyes of green are usually warm and welcoming but can turn frosty when her usually lenient temper kicks in. She has a large scar on her shoulder-blade from where the sickness had caught her in it's grasp.
Personality: For a leader, Maplestar is quite a quiet cat. She is very good at listening and doesn't speak unless she has something important to say. Maplestar can be found thinking quite a lot and she is never one to make rash descisions -- either for herself or for her Clan. She can become frustrated and agitated if she feels she is being backed into a corner and that is when her common sense can start drifting away, leaving bad descisions in the wake. Maplestar is not quick to tell other cats how she is feeling and often shies away from cats that try to comfort her. She has a soft spot for kits and apprentices, probably letting them get away with more than they should.
History: Maplestar had an ordinary upbringing. Her mother and father were both in the same Clan and both died in the horrible sickness when she was a warrior and went by the name of Maplefur. Maplestar survived and this tragedy helped her to become the quiet thinker that she is. Once the leader died, Maplestar stepped up to fill the gap.
