General Rules
Keep Swearing to an absolute minimum, even better, none at all...
One account per person. There is no reason to go around misleading potential members with the look that there are more members here than there really are.
Treat others as you yourself would like to be treated.
Activity is a major piece in the system that I have created -- please stay active.

Roleplay Rules
General No power playing, god-modding, or mary sues. In other words, don't control other people's cats, make you cat super strong and invincible, or have a perfectly good or evil cat.
When roleplaying, please post at least one thick and juicy paragraph. Also, don't go on and on with your posts -- the only thing worse than too short of a post is too long of one filled with nothing but description that doesn't help the thread move along.
Be reasonable with hunting. Cats are not successful with every hunt, neither can they carry a truckload of prey back to camp with only a mouth to carry things with.
Three characters maximum. Try and keep them all as active as possible.
Your cat may be in three threads at a time. If you are finding yourself smothered by the amount of threads you need to reply to, just find a way to excuse your cat from the thread.
No human swearing while IC. The cats have their own set of terms.
Patrols Each week, the leader or the deputy of their clan must post a list of patrols that will happen in the next week. An example would look like this:
The Dawn Patrol CliffClan and BogClan Border Saltfoot will lead, accompanied by Frostfall, Ashpaw, and Dustpaw.
If you see that your cat's name is up for one of the patrols, be it hunting or border, it would be in your best interest to post a couple of times in that thread. If your character doesn't show up in the thread, it will be considered sick and won't be able to go on patrols or gatherings until a medicine cat has healed it. If your cat doesn't go to the medicine cat for help it will die. This makes sure that everyone stays quite active. Of course, if you are not able to come on the site for one reason or another your cat won't be chosen for patrols (just make sure to tell an admin that you won't be active for a while).
Each patrol thread lasts one week unless there is a confrontation between two groups in which it can last two weeks due to the amount of people who have to take turns. Once the week is up, the thread will be locked and all cats will be automatically considered back at camp.
Patrols don't count towards the three thread maximum, though your cat may only be in one patrol at a time.
Kits Only kits of two actual roleplayed cats can have special powers such as having dreams of the future. This means that only second gen. cats may have powers -- if your character even has one NPC parent they still cannot have powers.
If you have two different characters, they cannot have kits with each other -- there just isn't really much point.
NO graphic breeding whatsoever.
If your character is going to be having kits, please tell a staff member and they will randomize the outcome; number of kits, colours, genders etc.
If you already have three characters (or just don't want another one), you can put the kits up for other people to play. If the kits are not claimed by two weeks (when they would be made into apprentices) they will be considered dead (you can choose whether to roleplay this or not). People can claim kits before they are born (so as to start roleplaying with them quickly) once the colors and genders are known.
To put kits up for adoption, please make a new thread in the Kitting board. Once you have claimed a kit, you must make a bio for it. Please note, the kit will continue aging while you make the bio, so you may want to do it as quickly as possible.
She-cats have to roleplay as Queens for two real-time weeks before they will actually have the kits.
